About the Author
Steve Anderson is a PGA Master Professional and is the Director of Instruction at River Hall Country Club in Ft. Myers, Florida. River Hall was designed by Davis Love III and is managed by Hampton Golf whose president is MG Orender, the former president of the PGA of America. In 2000 Steve was awarded the Teacher of the Year from the Southwest Florida PGA and has twice been placed on Golf Magazine's "Top Teachers in America" list. Anderson has been featured on The Golf Channel and ESPN and hosted his own golf segment on NBC-TV in SW Florida. Anderson has written more than 450 articles on the golf swing, which have been featured in Golf Digest, Golf World, USA Today and PGA Magazine. He has expert certification in club fitting and is a Callaway Professional Staff member. From 1992-96 Anderson headed up the Ken Venturi Golf Training Center on Hilton Head Island, SC and also served as an apprentice at the prestigious Isleworth C.C. in Orlando, home of Tiger Woods. Anderson works with many leading professional, amateur and college players in the U.S. and around the world. In 2009 gave his 40,000th lesson since turning professional in 1980.
